A popular poker tournament is back in action at the Borgata Casino, thanks to a partnership between Borgata Poker and BetMGM Poker. A new edition of the Almighty Million is on the books, with the event set to occur this May. The NJ casino is one of several that offers players a solid poker offering with live and online events. It’s been three years since the casino hosted this type of tournament, so players will surely be lining up to compete.

Details of the Almighty Million Event
The event will take place beginning on May 7 and will have a buy-in of $800. This includes a $730 buy-in and a $70 fee. The prize pool is guaranteed at $1 million, and players will be given a 100,000 Almighty Starting Stack. The event is a no-limit hold ’em format.
There will be four-day ones, and then day two will occur on May 11. The next two days, the casino will host Day 3 and Day 4 following. The Day 4 round will only take place if needed. Day 1 flights will have 16 levels, and Day 2 will play through level 28.
Levels one through 16 will last for 30 minutes each, and the remaining levels will span 40 minutes. The final table levels will reach 50 minutes each, and breaks will also be offered. The event will run over four days.
This is a best stack forward event with unlimited re-entries. The best stack will be carried forward for each player in the event. Having the option for re-entry is a great option for players in the Garden State. Players who are eliminated early can use this option to try and stay in the event.
Online Registration is Also Offered
The Almighty Million will offer online registration options along with onsite gaming at the Borgata Casino. Players can register via the BetMGM Poker app starting Monday, May 1. Online registration will close for Days 1A, 1B, 1C, and 1D at 9 pm on the respective days. The day-one options start on May 6 and run through May 9.
Having the ability to register online gives players a seamless way to compete in the event. It offers less travel time until the event begins at the casino.
Additional Upcoming Poker Events
The Borgata Casino is hosting a ladies Championship event along with the Almighty Million. The event is being held on March 11 at noon to celebrate Women’s History Month. The event has a buy-in of $220 + $35 and features a $15,000 prize pool guarantee.
Blinds will start at 100-100 during the first level and will move up each level through the 27th or higher, with blinds reaching 50,000-100,000. Players will be provided with 20,000 tournament chips to begin. Sign-up will begin one hour before the tournament begins.
Any player that is eliminated within the first 12 levels can choose to re-enter. The event will have unlimited re-entries. Levels will last for 30 minutes before moving up to the next round. The event is only a one-day tournament, so that the winner will be named on the same day.
The casino is also hosting the Grand Mania High Hand on Friday, March 24, and Saturday, March 25. From 11 am until midnight, players can earn $1,000 for a high hand. The giveaway will take place every 20 minutes during power hours. The power hours for the event will be 11 am, 3 pm, 7 pm, and 11 pm.
The special Grand Mania is an extension of the Borgata High Hand option. The casino offers $500 High Hands daily from Sunday to Thursday, every 60 minutes, and Friday and Saturday, every 30 minutes.
