Harrah’s Casino Atlantic City Opens The ARCADE on the Boardwalk

When visiting New Jersey casinos in Atlantic City, players expect to enjoy an adult experience. Most people don’t think about going to Atlantic City on a family trip, but it is possible to visit the gambling town and enjoy other activities. Harrah’s Casino recently added a new entertainment venue known as The ARCADE that is perfect for families traveling to the area.

Harrah’s Atlantic City recently opened The ARCADE on November 1, offering visitors a new attraction open seven days a week. The property offers over 5,000 square feet of gaming space near The Pool of the casino.

The arcade is open for all ages, and the casino stated its goal is to offer fun experiences and memories for all guests; the ARCADE is a great example of how they plan to do that. Harrah’s is one of three casinos operated by Caesars Entertainment in Atlantic City and was provided some of the $420 million that has been spent over the past three years for renovations and additions.

Visitors can access over 60 games at the new arcade with options like Skee-ball, air hockey, and claw machines. Players will obtain a reloadable card at The ARCADE and spend money from the card to play games. Tickets are not provided for gameplay as points are accumulated and turned in for prizes.

As of right now, the space opens at 10 a.m. every day. From Sunday to Thursday, guests can hang out until 10 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, guests can stay and play through 2 a.m. 
The ARCADE, coupled with other unique attractions in Atlantic City, helps the area to become more family-friendly and offers a well-rounded vacation destination. Parents can feel more comfortable visiting with children as there are more things to do than just casino gaming that is limited to 21 and older.

Kids enjoy the boardwalk with dining and activities to enjoy, which is located near several Atlantic City casinos. The Absecon Lighthouse is another unique attraction that can be visited along with Steel Pier Amusement Park, additional arcades, shows, and more.

For the adults, the entire state of New Jersey is expecting a big opening date this month. ESPN Bet will start offering services in the state by November 14, pending final approvals. Once it is fully operational, ESPN Bet will be live in 17 different markets across the United States.

Players have been anxiously awaiting the launch of ESPN Bet. The brand is backed by the sports media giant and is expected to make waves in the sports betting industry. ESPN is working with PENN Entertainment to offer sports betting, with the two having recently signed a 10-year agreement.

Before the brand goes live, ESPN will host a special sweepstakes for fans to win a chance to visit the ESPN headquarters in Connecticut. ESPN will only be offering the official odds of its sportsbook from now on and will change the popular Daily Wager program to ESPN Bet Live starting on November 10.

PENN is ambitious and feels that the ESPN Bet launch will gain a foothold and be able to secure a market share from DraftKings and FanDuel, the top two brands in the US sports betting industry. The brand is relying on a template that helped theScore to become successful in Ontario, and they are hoping to see the same success in America.

It will certainly be interesting to see how well ESPN Bet fares. Sports fans have been tuning in to ESPN for decades as a go-to source for sports entertainment. It would not be surprising to see fans switch to the brand, checking out all ESPN Bet has to offer.
