PENN Entertainment Launching Hollywood Casino in New Jersey

ESPN Bet and Hollywood Casino are coming to New Jersey today. PENN Entertainment is ready to launch its new venture in the Garden State, replacing the Barstool brand with two entities. PENN will introduce New Jersey online casino gamers to quality content, with Hollywood and ESPN set to do well among the player demographic.

The two new gambling platforms are going live as the Barstool brand exits NJ. For sports betting, players will have access to ESPN Bet. The online gaming brand is new and expected to be a rising star and big competitor for providers such as DraftKings and FanDuel.

For casino gaming, players will be able to access Hollywood Casino. The brand will be accessible via ESPN Bet on desktop and mobile devices. Players can switch from the sportsbook to the casino in New Jersey and other states to wager on sports and casino games within one platform.

The setup will be similar to Barstool Sportsbook and Casino, with players having no issue going back and forth between the two platforms. The Hollywood brand will be live in four states, based on online gambling laws. This includes New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and West Virginia.

Players need to note that the Pennsylvania site will go offline on December 14, and then players can create a new account with the brand-new Hollywood Casino platform. The brand already existed in the Keystone State and will simply be offering an updated operation.
