According to the rules and regulations of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, an online casino brand can only be allowed to operate in the state if it partners with a land-based casino brand.
For operating rights in New Jersey, PlayStar Casino has teamed with Ocean Casino Resorts. The casino brand recently announced a multi-year partnership with Ocean Casino Resort which will provide the newly established brand with market access to carry out operations in New Jersey.
With the deal in place, the operator is set to take off in the second half of the year. However, whether PlayStar Casino would launch in New Jersey will depend on the response of the state regulator to the new deal. With growing tax revenues, it is expected that the regulator would give the new brand the go-ahead to establish a market presence in the state.
PlayStar Casino already boasts of an impressive platform that would offer online visitors an immersive experience and keep them staking non-stop. In a market that is growing with competitive brands, this is just exactly what it needs to keep players gaming and staying loyal to its brand. On the platform, visitors will enjoy the best organization, as well as, personalization options, top-notch customer service, and player engagement.
Following the success of the deal, Adam Noble, co-founder and executive vice president at PlayStar Casino has released a statement expressing his delight that they were able to secure access into the blooming New Jersey market.
“We are delighted to have secured access to the thriving New Jersey market through Ocean Casino Resort.
“We have shaped our proposition through extensive market research and analysis of customer behavior to ensure maximum engagement and entertainment. This is the first step towards PlayStar Casino becoming a favorite amongst players across the US.” He said.
Joel Wikell, group founder and chairman at PlayStar Casino also shared his excitement at the recent development. According to his statement, he looked forward to PlayStar Casino growing in the New Jersey online market.
“For me, it is great to be back in the game as I founded Boss Media in the mid-nineties and brought many of the earliest online casinos to life.
“To get back in at this time when the technology and possibilities have advanced so much, is genuinely exciting. And we’re looking forward to doing it all over again.” He added.
New Jersey is already home to more than two dozen online casinos. The numbers are expected to increase in the coming years. The market is not the only attraction that keeps bringing new casino brands, but the recent pandemic which has seen many gamers stay off land-based casinos hall keeps the market booming.
With most gamers having no other option but to turn to online casinos to place their wagers, the online casino and sports betting market continues to rake in huge figures in revenue. Things are expected to be even better for online casinos as more states in the United States look to legalizing every form of online betting.
